Refunds Policy for Professional WordPress Services

Understand how we review cancellations, refunds and disputed payments for custom Projects and defined Tasks. Learn what happens when work has started, how buyer wallet credits differ from cash refunds, and how to request a fair review.

Four refund principles

Fair Resolutions Begin With Clear Facts

A balanced policy protects customers who have not received what was agreed and experts who have performed legitimate work.

Clear terms

Refer to the actual Project agreement, Task description and payment conditions.

Fair value review

Consider work delivered, unmet obligations and appropriately documented costs.

Accurate payment treatment

Distinguish available wallet credits from refunds through a payment provider.

Protected rights

Honor relevant consumer and payment protections instead of blanket exclusions.

Read this policy with your transaction documents. The agreed Terms and Conditions, approved Project scope, published Task listing and relevant payment provider conditions help determine your options. Our Privacy Policy and Content Privacy Policy describe how personal information and project materials are handled during an enquiry or dispute.

Policy Scope and Customer Rights

Start with the applicable agreement, payment records and consumer rights.

01

Who This Policy Covers

This Refunds Policy explains how cancellation requests, refund enquiries and payment disputes are assessed on Esposearch.net. The website is operated by Esposearch Limited Company, registered under the laws of the Republic of Kenya. It applies to clients and participating experts using the professional WordPress marketplace, subject to the relevant service agreement and applicable law.

02

Custom Projects and Defined Tasks

A custom Project is work proposed and agreed for a specific requirement. A Task is a published service package with stated inclusions, price and delivery conditions. A Project or Task order may involve a different stage of funding, acceptance and delivery. Refund treatment therefore depends on which route was actually used.

03

Cancellation, Refund and Dispute Are Different

A cancellation asks to stop future work or terminate an order. A refund asks for money or eligible account value to be returned. A dispute asks for a decision when the buyer and expert disagree about payment, cancellation, scope or delivery. Cancelling an order does not, by itself, prove entitlement to a full cash refund.

04

The Documents That Apply

Read this policy with our Terms and Conditions, the relevant Project scope or Task listing, any approved milestones, the checkout terms and the payment provider rules. A specific written agreement may add lawful conditions for the particular purchase. Material conflicting terms should be clarified before funding, and mandatory legal protections prevail where they cannot be excluded.

05

Rights That Cannot Be Waived

Nothing on this page removes consumer protections, lawful cancellation rights, remedies for misrepresentation, payment provider protections or other rights that cannot lawfully be limited. Entitlements depend on the facts and applicable jurisdiction. A platform setting or wallet limitation cannot be used to deny a cash refund where the law requires one.

Before Payment and Work Begins

Clear scope, price and third party commitments reduce preventable disputes.

06

Understand the Approved Scope

Before approving a Project proposal or purchasing a Task, review the included work, deliverables, client responsibilities, revisions, delivery expectations and any exclusions. A broad goal such as higher sales or better rankings is not automatically a measurable contractual guarantee unless expressly agreed.

07

Check the Transaction Stage

Posting a Project or browsing a Task does not itself mean a paid service has begun. Once an offer is accepted, an order is funded or checkout is completed, the applicable agreement and transaction records determine what work or financial commitments exist.

08

Third Party Products and Licences

Domain names, hosting, premium plugins, themes, software licences, external APIs and other third party purchases can have separate rules. Before purchasing a necessary item on behalf of a client, the party responsible should identify its cost and refund restrictions. A legitimate, documented nonrecoverable charge may be relevant to a cancellation assessment, subject to applicable law.

09

Prices, Deposits and Milestones

The transaction should make the agreed price, any deposit, funded milestone, platform charge and relevant service conditions reasonably clear before payment. Do not assume that every deposit is automatically nonrefundable or that all funded amounts are immediately payable to an expert. Treatment depends on the contract, work performed and legal rights.

10

Changes to Requirements

A material change to website design, functionality, content, access, software dependencies or scope may require a revised quote, timeline or separate order. Parties should document approved changes before additional paid work is performed. Disagreement about a proposed extra is not, by itself, evidence that the original agreed work was defective.

Custom Project Cancellation and Refunds

How cancellation and partial performance affect tailored WordPress work.

11

Project Requests Before Acceptance

A client may withdraw an unaccepted Project request. Where no payment has been collected and no separately agreed payable preparation has been performed, there is generally no service payment to refund. If money has already been received, the actual payment and agreement must be reviewed.

12

Funded Project Before Work Starts

When a funded Project is cancelled before substantive work begins, any refund or release of remaining funds should be determined from the approved terms, substantiated commitments and applicable rights. A request should not be rejected solely because funding has entered a marketplace wallet or project workflow.

13

Projects With Work in Progress

If a Project is cancelled after work begins, review demonstrable work completed, agreed milestones, delivered value, client instructions and properly disclosed expenses. A proportionate partial refund or other resolution may be appropriate. Unfinished work must not automatically be treated as fully earned.

14

Milestone Acceptance and Remaining Work

On milestone based Projects, accepted and properly delivered milestones may be evaluated separately from later unfunded or incomplete stages. A problem with an accepted milestone can still support an applicable contractual or legal remedy. The parties should identify the milestone, its scope and the evidence supporting the requested outcome.

15

Late Delivery and Material Nonperformance

Where a professional fails to provide agreed work or materially misses an agreed deadline, the client may request review and an appropriate remedy. Review considers the actual deadline, communications, agreed extensions, third party dependencies, client delays and applicable law. A justified correction, revised delivery plan, cancellation or refund may be appropriate.

16

Project Inability or Early Termination

If essential technical conditions make agreed work impossible, or an account is suspended for a serious reason, the resulting financial treatment should be decided fairly from the scope, evidence, responsibility and applicable law. Funds for work not earned should not be treated as automatically forfeited. Any disputed allocation should be escalated through the supported process.

Task Order Cancellations and Refunds

Defined service packages follow their listings and available order controls.

17

Task Listings and Buyer Expectations

A Task should state what the buyer receives, price, delivery period, necessary inputs and included revisions. The published package and accepted order record provide the starting point for a refund review. A service must not be represented as completed if the promised deliverable has not been provided.

18

Task Cancellation Before Delivery

A buyer wishing to cancel an active Task should use the available order controls or contact Support and explain the reason. Refund eligibility depends on the order stage, work completed, recorded agreement and legal rights. A request to cancel does not guarantee an immediate or full return of funds.

19

Revisions and Reasonable Corrections

If a delivered Task does not match its agreed scope, the buyer should identify the defect and seek an included revision or other appropriate remedy where reasonable. Revision limits in the listing remain relevant, but they do not eliminate remedies for genuine failure to deliver the agreed service.

20

No Delivery or Serious Delay

Where a Task remains undelivered or a professional does not respond within the applicable delivery expectations, the buyer may request cancellation, refund review or a dispute through the controls available to their account. Relevant facts include order messages, due dates, agreed changes and any material client dependencies.

21

Task Refund Requests and Expert Responses

Depending on the active marketplace configuration, a Task buyer may submit a refund request and the expert may respond, agree or contest the request. When disagreement remains, the administrator may review a dispute. The exact buttons and permitted actions depend on account permissions and current software settings.

22

Buyer Cooperation and Accurate Inputs

Clients should supply materials, decisions and authorized website access reasonably required by the agreed Task. Missing inputs may affect timelines, but do not justify arbitrary retention of all funds. Any decision should distinguish genuine expert nonperformance from a buyer caused delay or an approved change to the work.

Marketplace Wallet Credits and Cash Refunds

Account balances, cash repayments and provider reversals are not interchangeable.

23

How the Marketplace Holds and Records Payments

An order may involve a funded Project, a Task purchase, a wallet ledger or a payment provider. These records track contractual value and disbursement status under the configured marketplace processes. This policy does not represent the marketplace wallet as a separately regulated escrow account or guarantee that every payment is held in an independent trust.

24

Nonwithdrawable Buyer Wallet Credits

In certain native Project and Task dispute outcomes, the system may credit an amount to the buyer wallet for future eligible marketplace purchases. Such a credit may be nonwithdrawable through the standard buyer interface. It should be identified clearly as account credit, not described as an automatic refund to the original payment method.

25

Refunds to the Original Payment Method

Where a cash or original method refund is required by applicable law, due under the written agreement or otherwise properly approved, the relevant administrator and payment provider should arrange an appropriate refund route. A nonwithdrawable wallet credit is not necessarily an adequate substitute for a legally required cash refund.

26

Partial Refunds and Account Adjustments

A partial resolution may allocate documented value to work already supplied and address the remaining amount through an eligible credit, approved refund or other lawful arrangement. Any account adjustment should identify the affected order or milestone and the basis for the calculation. Do not assume every dispute requires the same outcome.

27

Processing Fees, Taxes and External Charges

Payment gateway charges, taxes, conversion costs or third party purchases may affect the accounting record. Whether any charge may be deducted from an amount owed to a buyer depends on advance disclosure, the contract, provider rules and the law. No automatic blanket fee deduction is established by this policy.

28

Timing, Currency and Payment Provider Action

Refund processing time can vary with the payment method, provider review, currency conversion, bank processing and the facts of a dispute. We will communicate the applicable outcome and available transaction information without promising an unverified fixed timeframe. Payment providers may have separate reversal and claim procedures.

Requesting a Refund and Resolving Disputes

A documented and impartial review protects clients and qualified experts.

29

Where to Start a Refund Request

Start with the relevant Project or Task order in your authenticated marketplace account and use the available refund, cancellation or dispute action. If the option is unavailable, visit the Support page or email admin@esposearch.net with the order reference. Do not post private payment information or website access credentials publicly.

30

Information That Helps a Fair Review

Provide the order or Project identifier, service title, payment date, agreed scope, relevant messages, delivery evidence, screenshots with sensitive information removed and a clear description of the requested remedy. Explain whether the concern is nonperformance, a material defect, missed delivery, unauthorized charge or another issue.

31

Keep Relevant Communication on Record

Where possible, use the authorized marketplace communication and dispute channels so the terms, deliverables, instructions and responses remain associated with the order. Do not delete relevant evidence, alter screenshots or attempt to resolve a disputed transaction through unapproved off platform payments.

32

Administrator Review and Impartiality

A reported dispute may be reviewed by authorized administration using the applicable agreement, order status, records and submissions from both parties. Either party may be asked for further clarification. Administration should distinguish supported facts from allegations and apply the configured resolution options consistently with legal obligations.

33

Possible Outcomes and Written Decisions

Depending on the case, the parties may agree to a correction, revised delivery, cancellation, partial adjustment, buyer wallet credit, cash refund where required or another lawful resolution. A decision should identify the affected transaction and communicate the result. No particular outcome is guaranteed simply because a request was submitted.

34

External Provider and Statutory Remedies

An internal review does not necessarily prevent an eligible customer from contacting a payment provider, exercising chargeback or buyer protection rights, or seeking assistance from a competent regulator or court. Applicable time limits and conditions may differ. Where a formal process is initiated, parties should avoid duplicate recovery of the same amount.

Experts, Digital Deliverables and Special Cases

Professional fairness extends to both delivery obligations and earned compensation.

35

Expert Earnings and Withdrawal Adjustments

A properly resolved cancellation or dispute may affect an expert balance, approved earnings or a pending withdrawal under the applicable platform rules. Experts should receive notice of material concerns and an opportunity to provide relevant evidence where reasonably possible. Properly earned payments must be distinguished from disputed, unearned or reversed amounts.

36

Duplicate and Unauthorized Transactions

If a buyer believes an order was duplicated, charged incorrectly or made without authorization, they should report the transaction promptly through Support and, when appropriate, to the payment provider. We may need to verify the order and identity of the requesting party before making an account adjustment.

37

Unlawful Work and Security Risks

A service may be declined, paused or terminated for a serious legal, security or contractual reason. The related financial outcome should be based on the actual responsibility, work completed, properly documented costs and applicable law. Termination for a policy concern does not automatically make all payments nonrefundable.

38

Subscriptions and Continuing Services

If an approved service is sold on a recurring plan, its renewal, cancellation, billing and any service period adjustments should follow the disclosed plan terms and applicable law. Disabling a website feature or stopping use is not necessarily the same as cancelling the authorized billing arrangement. Check the relevant account and provider controls.

39

Digital Products and Downloadable Files

Where a downloadable product or digital deliverable is offered through Esposearch.net, the applicable listing should explain what the buyer obtains and any material access or licensing conditions. Refund treatment may differ after delivery or download, but a blanket no refunds rule must not override remedies for defective, missing or misrepresented content or mandatory consumer rights.

40

Services Purchased Through Esposearch.courses

Esposearch.courses is a separate website for training and digital resources. Courses, ebook purchases, enrolment charges and downloadable items purchased there should follow that website’s applicable purchase terms and refund notices. This Esposearch.net policy does not automatically govern transactions made on the separate site.

41

No Automatic Refund Promise

This policy does not promise that every cancellation results in a full refund. Equally, it does not impose an unconditional no refund rule. Legitimate outcomes depend on the purchase route, actual facts, lawful agreement, work performed, available remedies and mandatory rights.

42

Chargebacks and Fraud Prevention

Payment reversals and chargebacks may be investigated with the applicable provider. We may preserve appropriate records and respond to legitimate enquiries while protecting users from unauthorized transactions, fraud or duplicate compensation. Any recovery or adjustment must remain consistent with applicable provider rules and law.

43

Records and Confidentiality

Order records, communications, payment status, resolution decisions and evidence may be retained when reasonably needed for contracts, legal obligations, financial reconciliation or disputes. Confidential client website materials should be handled under the Privacy Policy and Content Privacy Policy. Do not include passwords, secret keys or complete payment card details in an ordinary refund message.

44

Changes and Effective Date

We may update this policy when marketplace settings, services, payment arrangements or legal obligations change. The operative version should show its approved effective date. Material revisions should be communicated as legally required and should not be retroactively applied to remove established rights or contradict a binding transaction agreement.

45

Official Refund Support

For cancellation, wallet credit, payment or dispute questions, use the relevant authenticated order controls or the Support page at esposearch.net/support/. You may also email admin@esposearch.net with the subject Refunds Policy Enquiry and the relevant order identifier. We will review the question against the current records and applicable terms.

Operational approval required: This page is a proposed policy. Before publication, confirm that the enabled refund and dispute actions, marketplace wallet rules, payment provider procedures and Terms and Conditions match the statements above. In particular, determine how mandatory cash refunds will be carried out when the normal marketplace outcome is a nonwithdrawable buyer wallet credit.
